If you got no garden or no much sunlight at your home, try hydro cultured plants! I’m not sure how it works much but this little plant that I drew is planted on some kind of clay pellets that replaces the soil. The vendor instructed that this plant must not be exposed to sunlight and that there is a lesser need to water them. Water levels must be exact too so that the roots of the plant won’t rot. To know more, read this article.
So, there it goes. I enjoyed drawing this plant more than I expected. I like its simplicity and the color complexity of the leaves. I’m not much convinced that I made the proper blend of green there. I will need to learn more about mixing colors in colored pencils. Well, hope you like it. Have a great day!
