The Sight of Love

The Sight Of Love

Words and Music by Clementine
The Camerawalls feat. Sarah Gaugler

Oh, a lovely day has brought forth
A series of endearing moments
Like a rosary
I’m keeping track of mysteries
My devotion for this madness
Reflects the beauty of desire
Particularly, when you’re requiting tenderly

Wake up to the sight of love
Wake up to the sight of love
Wake up to the sight of love…

Hey, I dreamt of neon skies
Wild mignonettes and butterflies
How I fly the nest and go about your little hive
My devotion for this madness
Defeats the errors in my judgments
Particularly, when you’re requiting tenderly

Wake up to the sight of love
Wake up to the sight of love
Wake up to the sight of love…

Oh, love is in the air
Let’s wake up to the sight and sound of love, love, love!

Oh, l’amour est parmis nous
C’est tellement bon viens,
Rapproche-toi, rapproache-toi
Levons-nous chaque jour
À la lumiere et aux murmures
De l’amour, l’amour, l’amour!

This is my Indie Saturday post featuring The Camerawalls again! LOL. This is one of my favorite songs. I hope you like it. Have a great day!

PS. The video took so long before I get to upload it due to internet connection problems. Thanks for visiting! 🙂

My Life’s Arithmetic Means

My Life’s Arithmetic Means
Words and Music by Clementine
The Camerawalls

Anytime you need someone to hold on
Even though it’s only words of comfort
Whatever you are doing
You can always count on me

Chemically induced hallucinations
Do you want to heal or push the knife on
I can be the only drug that you will ever need

I’ll be your North, your South
Your East and West
Your pillow, your wine
And your Sunday’s rest
When the twilight sets in
I’ll pin your curtains with stars

Laughter always forgives and forgets
Oh, like a bubble at a touch
I won’t let you break
I won’t even pretend
Cause you’re the value of my life’s arithmetic means

Trouble’s that you share are troubles halved
I’ll carry all the weight oh, turnaround
I’ll even share these dreams to last
For fifteen thousand nights

I’ll be your North, your South
Your East and West
Your pillow, your wine
And your Sunday’s rest
When the twilight sets in
I’ll pin your curtains with stars

Laughter always forgives and forgets
Oh, like a bubble at a touch
I won’t let you break
I won’t even pretend
Cause you’re the value of my life’s arithmetic means
Cause you’re the value of my life’s arithmetic means

If you like what you heard, you can support the artist by buying their album.
(itunes, amazon, shop) 🙂

I think the song is really good I don’t know if I put justice on it. There are so many things or images that can go well with that song but since the title is math-related, I thought of drawing a graph with a heart on it. And the pocket clock is added in to stand for a love that can stand the test of time. ♥

So, there goes my Indie Saturday post. I hope you like it.  Have a great day! 😀

Solitary North Star

Today, I draw something from one of my favorite songs composed by my brother. Do check them out! I hope you enjoy the song as much as I do. 🙂

Solitary North Star
The Camerawalls
Words & Music by Clementine

The sun rises and sets without saying goodbye
Only leaves spectacular rays before it sleeps right before our eyes.
Silently being covered by night’s naked blanket of mystery
For sometimes only in darkness can we realize depth and significance
Of movement and time,
Of people and purpose,
And of infinity, Yes, Infinity

As we gaze at the vast space above us
Beyond the clouds; fabled stars will appear
Do you count or look intently for brief moments of wonder?

There is beauty in darkness.
There is beauty in darkness.
There is beauty in darkness
There is beauty in darkness.

For during times my life is covered with shadows
My road hardly visible with devious fog
And storms chasing my strength and bleeding me dry
I close my eyes and think of you – my solitary North Star.

As we ease the vast space between us
Beneath our eyes; twinkle of tears will appear
Do we kiss or look intently for endless moments in wonder?

There is beauty in absence
There is beauty in absence
There is beauty in absence
There is beauty in absence.
